Real People. Real Solutions. Relationships That Last.
Technology should make business easier, not more complicated. But even the best-designed systems occasionally require attention, maintenance, troubleshooting, or modification.
At Transportation Resources, Inc. (TRI), we believe technical support is more than fixing something when it breaks. It is about understanding our clients, knowing their systems, and being available when they need assistance. For more than 40 years, we have worked closely with businesses to develop, maintain, and support the technology they depend upon. Some of those relationships have continued for more than two decades. We take that responsibility seriously.
Our commitment doesn’t end when an application is delivered. In many ways, that’s when the relationship truly begins.
Application Support & Maintenance
Custom software is an investment in the way a business operates. Protecting that investment requires dependable support and a willingness to adapt as business requirements change.
TRI provides ongoing support for the applications we develop, including troubleshooting, performance improvements, maintenance, and modifications. Because we understand the underlying software, databases, and business processes, we can often identify problems more efficiently than someone unfamiliar with the system. Whether addressing an unexpected error, modifying a business rule, improving a report, or introducing new functionality, our objective is to keep our clients’ applications productive and dependable.
We don’t simply maintain software. We help preserve the value of the investment our clients have made in it.
Database & Server Support
Behind many business applications are databases and servers that must work together reliably.
TRI has extensive experience with Microsoft SQL Server, Windows Server, IIS, Microsoft Access, and other technologies supporting business-critical applications. We assist clients with database troubleshooting, application connectivity, server configuration, performance concerns, and related technical issues. Our understanding of both the application and its operating environment allows us to approach problems from multiple perspectives. Sometimes an issue that appears to be a software problem is actually related to a database, network connection, server configuration, or another component of the system.
Our experience helps us identify those relationships and develop practical solutions.
Network & Connectivity Support
Modern business applications depend on communication between computers, servers, databases, websites, and Internet services.
When those connections fail or perform poorly, business operations can be disrupted. TRI assists clients in identifying and resolving connectivity problems affecting their applications and information systems. Whether an issue involves an internal network, remote access, Internet connectivity, or communication between business locations, we work to determine the source of the problem and coordinate an appropriate solution. We understand that technology rarely operates in isolation. A problem with one component can affect an entire business process.
Our goal is to restore dependable operation while minimizing unnecessary disruption.
Website, Hosting & Internet Services
Websites and online applications have become essential components of everyday business operations.
TRI supports the web technologies and hosting environments used by our clients, including website applications, database connectivity, domain configuration, DNS services, and related Internet technologies. We can assist with troubleshooting, application deployment, configuration changes, and coordination with hosting and Internet service providers. For clients using TRI-developed applications, this integrated understanding can be especially valuable. Rather than requiring clients to determine whether a problem belongs to their software developer, hosting provider, or network administrator, we help investigate the issue and identify the appropriate next steps.
Our clients shouldn’t have to become technology experts simply to get their technology working.
Legacy Systems & Technology Modernization
Many organizations continue to rely on software developed years ago because those applications remain essential to their business operations.
TRI understands the importance of maintaining these systems. We have decades of experience supporting established applications and adapting them to changing business requirements. Whether maintaining a Microsoft Access application, updating a SQL Server database, modifying an existing program, or extending functionality through modern web technologies, we work to preserve the value of proven systems. We believe technology should evolve thoughtfully. Replacing an entire application is not always necessary when targeted improvements can accomplish the same objective.
Sometimes the best solution is improving what already works.
Troubleshooting & Problem Resolution
Technical problems don’t always fit neatly into categories.
An application may stop communicating with a database. A report may suddenly produce unexpected results. A server configuration may change, or an outside service provider may introduce a problem that affects an existing system. Our clients shouldn’t have to determine which technology is responsible before asking for assistance. We approach troubleshooting by examining the problem, understanding its business impact, and identifying the components involved. When necessary, we work with other technology providers to help develop a resolution.
We cannot promise that every problem will have a simple or immediate answer. But we believe every issue deserves careful attention, clear communication, and an honest assessment of the available solutions.
Our objective is straightforward: identify the problem, find a practical solution, and help our clients move forward.
Experience Makes a Difference
Technology has changed dramatically since TRI began developing software in 1982.
We’ve worked through the evolution of personal computers, local area networks, client-server applications, relational databases, the Internet, mobile computing, and now artificial intelligence. That experience provides a valuable perspective. We understand how older technologies interact with newer systems, how business applications evolve, and why apparently simple changes can sometimes have unexpected consequences. More importantly, we understand that behind every technical problem are people trying to do their jobs. A malfunctioning application isn’t simply a technical inconvenience. It may prevent someone from processing an invoice, dispatching a shipment, serving a customer, or completing an important business transaction.
We never want to lose sight of that human element.
Personal Service. Professional Commitment.
At TRI, we believe that relationships are the foundation of good technical support.
We know many of our clients personally. We understand their businesses, their employees, and the applications they rely upon. That familiarity creates efficiencies that are difficult to duplicate in larger, less personal service organizations. We don’t believe in unnecessarily complicated support procedures, endless transfers between departments, or treating every problem as though the client is contacting us for the first time. We believe in communication, accountability, and treating people with respect. Some of our clients have depended on TRI for more than 30 years. We consider that continued trust one of our greatest accomplishments.
We don’t measure our success simply by the applications we’ve developed. We measure it by the relationships we’ve maintained and the confidence our clients place in us.
