April 2012, our 30th year in business. So what to do with a 5' by 5' window was a question we asked for more than a year since we moved into our new space at Suite 3, 50 Leominster Road, Sterling, Massachusetts. We finally decided to do something unusual. We had our logo printed on ceramic tile. We then had a custom frame built and mounted these tiles and framed them with 1" multi color tiles. The result is a unique look that not only depicts our logo day and night, but also follows our theme of custom development. Everything we do here at TRI is custom and our new welcome sign says it best!
In August 2011 we were redefining our mission and vision for TRI. Although similar in emphasis, the mission seems closely aligned with the symbolism associated to the Peacock. This picture was taken by Robert Jones during a visit to the Fountain of Youth in St. Augustine, Florida.
The Peacock smbolized incorruptibility vision, protection, watchfulness, good-will, nurturing, guidance, kind-heartedness and integrity.
We identify with the peacock in our quest to serve our clients.
In June 2011 a meeting we had with one of our favorite clients inspired us almost instantly. They wanted everyone in their organization to see important information throughout the day. As if it was written on a whiteboard for all to see. We bantered around some ideas and our answer was WhiteboardMobile. We immediately secured the domains www.whiteboard.mobi and www.whiteboardmobile.com. We created the software to drive email messages to WhiteboardMobile when sent to msg@whiteboard.mobi and connect the message to the client and their subscribers. The service is provided on a subscription basis.
March 2011
March 2011 is the 29th anniversary of TRI (incorporated in 1982). We remember what has made it possible to sail through the highs and lows of the past decaades. It has always been our determination to look at things in a dintinctive way. It is a tribute to the diversity and unique clients that have pushed us to look for the fresh answers to familiar problems. Our infatuation for the racing technology has also been our ally. It has been our delight to make things unique for each and every client.
February 2011
In February 2011, we got word that a new iPad was in the works. We didn't know much about what it might be, but we already loved the iPad. So in February we highlighted our iTrif application and in March, after the introduction of iPad2, we updated the graphic. The iPad2 is a great tool for fun and business and we work hard to master development for it.
January 2011
2011 promises to be a great year. After a couple of years of trials and tribulations, market adjustments, heavy borrowing and bailing out, we are beginning to move forward again. A lot of ground has to be gained (regained), but optimisim is in the air! We wanted to be the first to wish everyone a great year!

What is a TRIF anyway? Read our blog.
Heading into winter, we wanted to add a little levity but also explain what our logo stands for and what our brand is all about. We wrote a corresponding blog entry exxplaining that it is all about design, build and support.
We wanted to draw a connection between global climate change and the change in the business climate we have had to learn to deal with over the last two years. We wrote a blog explaining that we can be a good sounding board when discussing the future and the best use of technology.

Map of Time - Data Mapping
This was an image of a data map we created to identify the areas we spent the most time in the past 10 years. It was used as an example of how data mapping can help you better understand your business.

Our Core Values
In January of 2010 we were in the process of reviewing our mission and vision and it ended up to be all about our core values. Why had we been in business for more than 28 years. How we have adapted to the changes in business. How have we mastered new technologies. Our longevity rested on our core values. The principals that hold TRI together.

The Art of Math
When we redesigned our web site in late 2008, we wanted to put not only all our products and services on display, but we wanted to show the artsy side of TRIF.COM. After all, we spend a great deal of time designing. Whether it is data structure, forms, reports, web pages, or applications, there is an art to what we do.
TRI has satisfied all of our needs with regard to our Information Technology, Hardware, Custom Software Development, e-mail, Web Design, and System Maintenance. All of this while also developing a trust and friendship that I feel has allowed both companies to become successful. S.M.
One of the most comforting aspects of our system is that TRI put it together in a way to plan for expansions that we never even would have thought that the rest of the world would want us to do some day. F.J.
We have relied on TRI to develop and maintain our Business software and hardware technical systems for almost 20 years. A large percentage of the growth of our business can be linked to their ability to understand our needs and combine their knowledge and technical skills to provide the necessary training to our staff, which has lead us to be one of the most successful companies of our profession.

One of the greatest assets TRIF has for us as a transportation company is the years of experience they have in the transportation field. Understanding our business certainly gives them an advantage to solving problems, writing software and knowing what we need.
